Microsoft says" OneDrive is an Internet-based storage platform with a significant chunk of space offered for free by Microsoft to anyone with a Microsoft account. Think of it as a hard drive in the cloud, which you can share, with a few extra benefits thrown in."
OneDrive is installed on all Windows 10 computers. It is easy to identify be the cloud icon on the start menu.
OneDrive copies your files in two places, 1 on your local computer and 2 in the cloud. Storing your files in the cloud means they are safe and easy to retrieve in case your computer is stolen or damaged beyond repair.
Sync - The OneDrive application makes sure your computer files and cloud files are always the same. You have to ensure that the application synchronises properly.
Versions - The OneDrive application remembers the changes you made and can retrieve them on demand.
Organisation - OneDrive works with the file explorer and organising files is as easy as creating a folder structure.
